It has been busy here at Tumbleweed & Poppleswamp! I have been working on some big drawing projects, sewing a bunch and working with a ton of Health Coaching clients. Thought I’d give you a peak of what’s been going on around here.
This picture brings together two dreams I’ve had over the years. The first is a reference to a photo of Dorothea Tanning & Max Ernst from the cover of her book Birthday. After reading this book I very much wanted to move to Arizona and make art.
The second dream has been a shop. I’ve always wanted a beautiful little space full of beautiful little things. A place where I could share my work and my friends work with my friends.
What is great about this picture is it is a picture of Joel & I mimicking Dorothea & Max in the window of my new space! I’m very very excited about this.
The space needs work though, we cleaned a bunch of junk out of there and I spent a nice chunk of the day researching flooring options and paint colors. I’m pleased with the choices and can’t wait to improve the space from what it looks like currently:
