One of the joys of living in a small town is your chances of being featured in the local newspaper get really high. With that in mind one of my drawings was recently featured in the paper. It was a drawing with a lot of color originally but was shown black and white. I think it looked surprisingly nice:

I get my business cards from Moo.com and I love them. They make me really excited to buy something as boring as business cards. As an artist I love that I can have so many different pictures on the front of each card, it’s like having a drawing portfolio in my wallet. "Healer" 11" x 14", ink & gouache on paper
I recently finished this drawing as a gift for a friend. He lives in the community that I live in and has an enormous amount of love and healing energy which he shares freely with those around him. I felt that I really wanted to create something for him to show him how much I appreciate him and his knowledge. As soon as I decided to create a drawing for him this image sprung into my mind.
