There has been so much beautiful art on flickr recently. I like to share my favorites with you periodically. There are a few people whose posts I am always looking forward to and wanted to point you to their sites specifically as well. noelbadges has some fabulous nature illustration, nanihta has some gorgeous and surreal photography and I’m endlessly fascinated by the food miniatures of Petit Plat.

So, when I started this blog I wanted to highlight other artist’s work occasionally that I found inspiring and beautiful. Well, this proved trickier than I had anticipated. Most of us have safety settings on our images so people can’t easily use our work and I feel like I need to ask permission….and you know I’m really an artist and not a full-time blogger so I’ve decided to take the easy out here.
I compulsively look at other’s work on flickr and use my favorite button liberally. So here is the first page of my favorites. I’ll do this whenever I’ve cycled through so you can easily see what I’m loving. Make sure to click through and see some of these people’s work, gorgeous stuff!
